hey DeathPwny im just wondering if it is possible to get the 3d model? i have a 3D printer "makerbot" and i would like to test it out with a big and high poly model. and i love you model it looks amazing and i think it will take the good part of an hour maybe more to print that in the size i will print it in hope you respond kristoffer.
Yuo, it's in blender. Of course you could get a rendering that smooth. It's all in the subdevision modifier and light sources Besides, blender even has unbiased rendering and doesn't have many disadvanteges to commercial software anymore. I think it's even better in some aspects
Wow. Damn these are good. You ever think about having them ported to Source? They could be used in Garry's Mod and SFM. These are a WORLD better than the current models that exist, that's for sure. Damn. Daaamn. Good going!
Hmm, those are low poly models of 's models. They're quite good in higher quality, they're just with an own artistic spin. The low poly if this isn't too great XD, I think a game couldn't handle high poly models without performance loss. I've used it for charity so I can't just release the model. Besides it was my first attempt at modeling ever (not counting CAD but that's completely different) so the topology is really messed up and can't be properly moved far from this position.
Performance wouldn't be much of an issue in Source Filmmaker, I'd think. Most people who use it have high end computers, anyhoo. They're not yours then? You've certainly made good use of them! I'm pretty impressed. Love it.
