Sorry nope. I dunno if I'll take art commissions at some point but I'lll most likely never take commissions for sculpts. It literally takes me several day to complete so I wouldn't be able to sell them for a reasonable price.
Well, she is quite balanced but she has no extra weights, her tail is all modeling compound (and wire + foil) She still has some longer wires from her feet that I didn't remove from my wire construct. You can see it in the WIP pics that are linked in the description
I have to say, this is one of the reasons why you are at the top of my all time favorite artists. You're so talented in so many different areas! And this is a magnificent piece! I'm a sculptor myself, but this is something I could never achieve without putting all my attention and focus into or without working myself as hard as I could.
I have to ask though, what type of paint did you use? And how long did the overall process take? I would really appreciate any tips!^^
Oh you! I'm pretty sure everyone could make that and improve it by a lot! There aren't really any tips I could give, since the is the second time I tried it (the forst one looks somewhat deformed). With this one I basically made a sketch and made the basic structure out of wires and baked it several times and fixed stuff. I'm not quite sure but it probably took about a week if I added everything up. Though it also is hard to seperate the actual work from baking. As for paint, I used basic acrylic paint I got at a discount supermarket [link]
